The professional ultrasonic deterrent operates directly on the rodent's eardrum, in fact the device is able to exert a powerful pressure directly on the rodent's eardrum, causing in the latter: exhaustion, disorientation, unappetizing and nausea. The device is controlled by a totally autonomous board thanks to which a well-defined frequency change is obtained, thus avoiding that the pressure of the ultrasound perforates the eardrum of the rodent, thus avoiding any form of habituation to the disorder. We would like to underline that our device is the only one that also varies the amplitude of the signal, significantly increasing dissuasion.

Autonomous and centralized systems

The US2004 model is an autonomous deterrent system, this means that the operation is controlled by a card of our production which creates a variable signal, obtaining the non-habituation by rodents. The autonomous system has a certified coverage of 100m2, with a linear range of 10m, beyond which the power decreases. The US2004 Diffusion model, on the other hand, is a diffuser controlled by the CT2008 control unit, this system is used for large areas, furthermore thanks to the control unit it is possible to obtain a "beat" effect, a phenomenon which occurs between the intersection of two signals, which add and differ, resulting in twice the frequencies.

Effects on rodents and other animals

Duration:

Our ultrasonic rat chasers are built with high quality components and have an average life of 10 years. The only components that could require assistance after years are the tweeters, i.e. the speaker that emits the signals, the cost of which is around €20/30.

Components:

The structure of the system is in 304 stainless steel, to resist bad weather and wear over time. The control card is produced by us and uses an autonomous frequency variation, making our system unique. The tweeter is a fundamental component for the effectiveness of the product; we tested 28 models on the market and only one proved to be qualitatively superior to the others.

Frequencies:

The frequencies used by our system are completely autonomous. After years of study and field trials, we have identified the frequencies of maximum disturbance for rodents. The system varies the frequency, always remaining in the range of maximum disturbance. The power is also variable, generating a variation similar to an "alarm". The fixed frequency could in fact cause hearing loss in rodents, by perforating their eardrum.

Action:

Ultrasound acts on the auditory impairment of rodents by exerting pressure on the sensory organ of their eardrum. This creates a hostile environment for rodents, as it causes severe nervous discomfort resulting in unappetizing, disorientation and loss of balance, greatly affecting their normal living conditions.

Coverage:

A single instrument covers an area of 100m2, with a linear range of 10m. The output power is 110dB at a distance of one meter, respecting the regulations in force but dealing with the maximum possible and regulated power.

Degree of protection:

The instrument is IP44, therefore more suitable for outdoor use. Thanks to a special shell created by us, the US2004 model can also be used to great effect in outdoor environments. In fact, the body protects the components that could be damaged by atmospheric agents, making the instrument suitable for outdoor use as well.

HACCP:

Since these tools are entirely based on electronic systems, they are suitable for treating pests in environments subject to HACCP regulations. This opens up a huge market for these tools. Even condominiums and buildings are required by law to carry out annual disinfestation, and the price is certainly more advantageous.
